Jacob’s Cave in Lake of the Ozarks was the first commercialized cave in the area opening in 1932, and it is definitely a sight to see. With gorgeous reflective pools, ceiling sponge work, prehistoric bones, it’s a great place to take the family to get away from the busy atmosphere of the Lake. One of the coolest things that Jacob’s Cave has to offer is the world’s largest geode, so be sure to check it out. The cave stays a constant 53 degrees, which makes it a great place to go on those hot summer evenings…but be sure to bring the appropriate clothing.
